Having the Best Class Instructor makes the Difference !
Tim Pepper has taught 87 new square dance classes. Starting in 1982, he now has over 35 years experience being a Square Dance Caller and Instructor. He is a CallerLab member and is BMI and ASCAP licensed. He has taught numerous clubs in their beginner's programs including the Ramblin' Rogues of Mission Viejo. Besides often being the guest caller in the Southern California area, he is sought after as a caller throughout the Western United States.
In a friendly atmosphere, Tim will teach both Modern Western Line Dancing and Square Dancing--a few calls each class. At the end of our lessons, you will know a good variety of Line Dances and be Square Dancing at the Main Stream and Plus levels . Friendships will form with fellow square dance students and club members who are always ready and eager to dance. The first lesson is free and subsequent weeks are $6.00 per student each week.
Lessons for individuals new to square dancing start in early January of each year and are open to new students for three weeks only. Each Thursday, Tim teaches Line Dancing from 7:00 until 7:30 and Square Dancing from 7:30 until 9:30 pm.
These lessons are also open to individuals wishing to "brush up" their square dance skills and who currently or have previously belonged to a club at one time. Additionally, students currently enrolled in other training programs can "double dip" and join us each Thursday as a visitors or register as a student. They can join at anytime the class in progress.
The Shirts 'N Skirts Class also allows graduated Male Angels who dance at "Plus Level" to attend our class for $2.00 each week if they dance with singles on the "Singles Rotation Board".
The Shirts 'N Skirts Square Dance Club holds their classes every Thursday from January until graduation in October of each year. The Class is in the East Building in the Anaheim United Methodist Church located at 1000 S. State College Blvd. in the City Of Anaheim. (See Our Dance Hall page under Dances for directions and map)
