A Little Fun With Class Graduation !
Our Square Dance Classes begin in January of each year and ends with the actual Class Graduation in early October. In total, there are 40 weeks which includes the 3 weeks open to new students, a Half Way Dance and the last week which is the formal Class Graduation.
Upon Graduation, all students are invited to join the Shirts 'N Skirts Square Dance Club
To assist the NEW GRADUATES get started dancing, we hold a series of six workshops, each with a different caller with their different styles and patterns. We encourage the NEW GRADUATES to attend Indio Dance Festival and stick with them to make them fill comfortable at their first big dance. However, at Graduation, we do have a little fun at student expense
